what engine do you use and how much power does it have?
Most likely the gator tail is a 40 horsepower.... As for the brand, it could be a Pro Drive? Can't say for certain.

@@terisulistio533 anytime I'm actually looking into buying a "Pro Drive 1854 TDX with a Pro Drive CX40VIR/AR" gator tail. The design of this particular boat can work not only in bayous and lakes but in the swamp. You can be an incredibly shallow water and cut through a solid patch of lilies without a problem. It can go about 26 to 32 MPH even through lilly pads. It also has a feature where the entire Gator tail can spin 180 degrees and you can just go as fast backward as forward. The fact that Pro-Drive made the Gator tail spin 180° is a game changer. If you get stuck you literally have the same power to backup exactly where you just went through. If you are looking for getting a gator tail you should look into the "CV40VIR/AR" This particular Gator tail is still number one for me today. No other company has this feature from my current understanding. I went to a boat show this past Sunday and I learned about the 2024 model gator and boat. Let's just say I am beyond impressed. That's crazy right there. Thats where i feel my prodrive would shine once i actually caught up to you. Lol. Cause i cant catch a GT unless yall stop. Lol. How long did it take you to get unstuck? What was your method?
I actually did this to the channel of water in front of my land to make it deeper so my friends could bring their non mud boats to my house. Lots of work but way less expensive than a dredge

The thing is people get these rigs and swear by them but make vids showing them not being pushed to the limit ! This guy actually giving you the real deal and seeing how far you can actually go before getting stuck
The problem with pushing them to the limits is, going beyond the limit. I know, I seem to dance on that line often. And fall on the wrong side of that line from time to time.
That why stick with lighter boats not the one gator tail makes
No matter what motor you’ve got do not go out without a push pole! I could have been out a lot - and I mean a lot - quicker with straight drive GoDevil SD and a good old push pole.
You should learn how to use the rig before you go out on it

Wow very impressive mudd- boats have come a long way , the 4 wheel drive of the swamp. I remember building my first gator - tail in 1988 no neutral are reverse an chain drive 18 hp . The design has come along. Those dam water lilies .
